Marque Thompson

Marque Thompson is the principal of Design Marque Consulting Ltd., a design company specializing primarily in bespoke residential design and offering his clients an alternative to the services offered by registered Architects.

Marque started his design career 23 years ago, training under the Royal Institute of Architects student programme, at Plymouth School of Architecture in England. Prior to attending University, he completed an Ordinary National Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering. Since leaving University, Marque has worked with some of the most prestigious design companies in the UK, including London-based BP International, David Hicks International and Fitch & Co. He has worked on a variety of projects from private residences, offices, banks and hotels and that included corporate literature, furniture and complete interiors.

He moved to Canada in 1993 and continued to develop his expertise and practical skills in design, having completed some 1,200 projects to date with project values ranging from small cottages to multi-million dollar projects.

He has won silver and gold design awards at the Georgie Awards events and has had his designs published in several Magazines - most recently “Inside Out Magazine.”

The Design Marque office is located in West Vancouver, British Columbia Canada, but has clients all over British Columbia, Canada, USA, Singapore, England and Hawaii.
