A new residence, completed in 2006 resides this beautiful blended 2816 Bellevue Avenue Craftsman home with old world charm. Designed by Design Marque, who have designed most of West Vancouver’s newest homes and headed by Marque Thompson. His designs usually stick to the Craftsman theme and rarely ventures into waterfront homes, but this one seems to fit in nicely on Bellevue. The home has some nice touches, like a partial stone façade, slate tiled roof and lovely landscaping. Limited only by space and imagination, 2816 is clearly a well appointed residence, but it could have been better in some ways. Both land and home are almost evenly assessed, which is astonishing considering the home itself is merely 6,000 square feet. It is debatable whether such a small wood-framed home is worth its $5.6 million assessment though.
